The Christmas Song - the Raveonettes
Well, we're about to leave Europe so it's only right that we have a European band to celebrate Christmas Day, with a laidback, ambivalent, yuletide song about leaving.
The Danish band the Raveonettes have been turning out great music for just over seventeen years now, ever since their excellent debut album "Chain Gang of Love". Their sound is a sultry mash of the Everly Brothers, Velvet Underground and the soundtrack of Twin Peaks. No borders.
